Ticket Refund Policy

Last updated July 2026Owner: Finance teamNext review July 2027

Overview

This policy applies to spectator tickets purchased for Royal Twirling Association (RTA) competitions and events through the RTA website.

Royal Twirling Association (RTA) is a trading name of RTA Twirling & Events Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17174281), whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

No Refunds

All spectator ticket sales are final for a change of mind. The RTA does not offer refunds for a change of mind, including but not limited to:

- Inability to attend the event.

- Travel disruption or personal circumstances.

- Dissatisfaction with the event.

- Purchasing the wrong number of tickets.

- Duplicate purchases.

This policy does not affect your other legal rights. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your right to a refund where an event does not take place, is cancelled, or is not provided with reasonable care and skill, as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (see Section 3, Event Cancellation).

Tickets are for a specific event date and are exempt from the 14-day statutory cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Schedule 2, paragraph 11 (services related to leisure activities performed on a specific date). This exemption does not affect the refund rights described above or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Event Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the RTA cancels an event entirely (not a postponement or schedule change), the RTA will issue a full refund to the original payment method within 14 working days.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled to a different date, tickets will remain valid for the new date. No refunds will be issued for rescheduled events.

Transfers

Tickets are non-transferable. Each ticket includes a unique QR code tied to the purchaser's details. Tickets cannot be resold, gifted, or transferred to another person.

Lost Tickets

If you lose access to your tickets, you can retrieve them at any time by visiting royaltwirlingassociation.co.uk/tickets/find and entering the email address used at purchase. A link to your tickets will be emailed to you.

The RTA is not responsible for tickets that cannot be retrieved due to an incorrect email address provided at the time of purchase.

Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact admin@royaltwirlingassociation.co.uk within 7 days of purchase with your order details. The RTA will investigate and respond within 5 working days.

We encourage you to contact us before raising a chargeback so we can resolve your query directly. Raising a chargeback does not affect your other legal rights.
