Entry fees
Entry fees are set per routine, per dancer, and are invoiced to the troupe leader, not to individual parents or dancers. Troupe leaders are responsible for collecting each dancer's share ahead of payment.
All invoices are issued by RTA Twirling & Events Ltd (trading as Royal Twirling Association), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17174281), whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
Accepted payment
All RTA invoices are paid online by card via Stripe. We don't currently take bank transfer or cheque payments. This keeps payment instant and every receipt automatic.
Due dates
Invoices are due within 14 days of the date they're issued, or before the competition date, whichever comes first.
Late payment
If an invoice isn't paid by its due date, we'll send a reminder email, followed by a formal overdue notice. Entries may be paused until the account is settled.
Refunds
Competition entry fees: refundable up to the stated registration deadline. After the deadline, no refunds are issued except in cases of serious illness or bereavement (evidence may be required), in line with our Terms & Conditions.
Event tickets: refundable up to 14 days before the event date, as set out in the Ticket Refund Policy. No refunds within 14 days of the event except in exceptional circumstances.
Affiliation fees: refundable in full within 14 days of payment, provided the affiliation has not yet been approved for the season. Once approved, or once the 14-day period has passed (whichever happens first), affiliation fees are non-refundable.
If RTA cancels an event, a full refund is issued to all affected participants.
Refunds are always made to the original payment method via Stripe. If you think an invoice has been charged in error, contact admin@royaltwirlingassociation.co.uk and we will put it right.
